So I had a local shop throw on brakes and rotors for me that I just kept putting off due to lack of time, I asked about the PTU fluid since the wheels would be off and easier to access everything while it was in the air. They ended up doing it for free and told me it was easy enough to access and flush the fluid that they didn't even bother charging me for it. Weekend is starting off very good for me!

From all the horror stories of pricing for this task....I'm wondering if what YOU call a PTU is the same as what THEY call a PTU. ;)

The shop I took it too is the same shop my bodyshop uses for mechanical repairs and alignments. they even gave me a container of the nasty old ptu fluid, was basically on the verge of turning into jello. So no worries about getting frisked or taken advantage of.

Ok...if that's the case, 300$ buys a lot of for road trip to THIS place to change the fluid.

    Where are located?

    That'd be less than $300!! :
Honestly I did it myself and getting to it through the right wheel well simplifies it
