Beast of a Gen 1 Hood

    That is a GenII hood. Most of the cowl hoods were made by CincySHO which is no longer in business as far as I know. Shosource may have insight regarding whether new ones are avaiable. I think I have seen GenI hoods also. Most likely you would have to locate a used one. The facebook group may be another resource to access. Some members go there more often these days.

    I think SHOSource bought the CincySHO molds. Haven't seen them offering new ones for sale as of yet though.

    I've got a Gen2 cowl hood that I'd sell but only with a replacement stock hood to go back on the car.

    So do Gen2 hoods fit gen 1 cars?

    Yes but they won't line up with everything else on the car. Bumper, fenders, headlights, etc...

    If you have a Gen1 then you'll need a Gen1 hood.

    You can find the gen II cf cowl hood here they have a gen I cf hood but it looks like the plus hood with the little bulge in the hood, I think I they stopped making the cowl ones for the gen 1.
    You may find one for sale on here. Shosource no longer stocks the hoods this is the link that Mike from shosource sent me.
