    Group buy opportunity!
With limited options for new/lowering suspension for the Gen 1/2 SHO's, I have been trying to get the B&G Suspension S2 Lowering Springs. My order has been pending for a very long time. This is because the manufacturer does not keep stock and has no plans to carry or order any stock on for our cars anymore.
With that being said, I have been emailing with the company and they have agreed to do a group buy via them directly and will make the order happen if they get 10 people to order the springs. I know there have been some other people in the forums/facebook groups that have hit the same roadblock as me.
If you are interested in taking part, here is a link to the page: http://b-gsuspension.com/s2-springs. You would purchase them directly via the company and they would ship them to you once they have come in - $329.99 USD (+ taxes/shipping).
If you are interested let me know. I would love the SHO Source ones but they are simply out of my budget - so this is why I am going with this option.
Please PM me if you have any questions or plan to buy, so we can keep a running total of how many we need to get to 10 orders.

You can also email me at [email protected]

Not that beggars can't be choosers here but do we know the spring rates and quality of these units? I've only ever had Eibachs for the SHO and don't know anyone who has run the B&G

I think @RonPorter had B&G on his white 89 mounted on Tokicos. They must have been OK. He used to track that car.

SHO Source has sold them for awhile I had them with the new Tokicos I got from Chad They don't drop the car as much as the Eibachs (which haven't been available for years).

Is there a way to check the running total? I am seriously considering this. My only hangup is choice of strut. Is there any info about spring rates out there?

Check the B&G site, and I believe that SHO Source used to list the spring rate, so you could ask them.

They are softer than the Eibachs, but getting proper struts is still an issue. Basically, there aren't any. Apparently those Monroes are still the closest thing to a performance strut . I believe that Sachs still has struts that fit, but I believe that they aren't the original SHO struts they produced.

Getting coilovers is the only performance option . Unless someone can talk Bill Strobel out of those Tokicos on the white 89! Those come assembled with the B&Gs (same ones in the picture above) and don't have that many miles on them.

I currently own a set installed on my 95 ATX paired with some Monroe's. I love the stance but the 1.5" drop on the front doesn't leave much room for a low profile jack! Other than that, I enjoy the ride and the slightly agressive stance I get. Looking to order another set for my 91 MTX. Never ran Eibach's but I got a set of Koni's I need to have rebuilt and wouldn't mind finding a set of those springs to pair with those!

Yeah. I wouldn't mind a better stance and fresher springs. My issue for a long time is struts. I haven't purchased a set that I am remotely pleased with for many years now, since available Tokico stocks dried up. Don't like sensatracs, kybs don't last. I wish there was a workaround adapting an existing strut from another platform to work or a run of quality oem spec struts.

It would not be too difficult to build some housings for either generic strut inserts or strut inserts from a similar car.

Those would be nice. The sho inserts from back in the day were rebound adjust only, not compression.

Only a few have committed to getting this going, not enough to make it happen yet. I actually found a set of eibachs that I am getting installed but I am willing to continue to help organize this - if the interest shows up... But most contacted me via Facebook messenger and have not responded to a firm request to buy. If this group buy happens, it will be a longer process.
