    Hello
I have a 2014 and my A/C keeps shutting off. The front touch panel below the volume control stops working and the A/C shuts off. You can restart the A/C with the touch screen and it will run for 5mins then shuts off. I can restart the A/C with the touch screen instantly 3 times and then it will stay on like normal. Any ideas what the fix could be?
    Thanks

I would start with the traditional reboot, aka, disconnect the battery for an hour and see if that fixes it.

I would agree with majestic, before doing so you may want to pull codes.

If you don't have the tone turned on when you touch the touchscreen and or the control below the screen you may want to turn them on one at a time see if you hear a noise indicating a false input.

Thanks for the info. I did the traditional reboot due to the fact that my car would not start at all, or recognize the the key fob. After I did the reboot everything started working again but all was reset. I had installed a tune do i need to re-install the tune?
    Thanks

Disconnecting the battery will not cause the p.c.m. to lose its calibratio/tune. Your good there.

Knowing your car wasn't recognizing the key fob I would say use the back up slot to start the car in the center consol or at least try. You may have a bigger problem with the medium speed C.A.N. but I'm taking a big stretch there.

I'm surprised that no one has asked the age/state of your battery. These are also symptoms of a dying battery. Usually to display will tell you it is turning things off to protect the battery. Of course, that may not be the case here, but I have replaced my battery twice in my short 5 years of ownership.
