They just barely clear the Cobra setup.
And I do mean just barely.
Grind the wheel for clearance.
What track pads are we using with these?
The pad choice is endless as it's a Mustang setup. However, A lot Folks have luck with EBC Pads and Hawk HP's.
HP + for street, Hawk blue for track.
Oh, BTW, wilwood FTW! lol
Amen, Ecspecially on a gutted car.
However, This would make a great Kit for the 89. :sun:
I run hawk HPS pads with PBR calipers on my Grand Prix. I love the HPS's. They don't take long to warm up and the car stops. The kit includes standard semi-metallic pads which will be fine for just about everyone but those tracking their cars.
HPS are for Pus- awe never mind! Nice price, welcome back!
how difficult would it be to make this work with an 11.6" rotor?
Not hard at all. Relocate caliper bracket mounting holes .700 inches toward the caliper, cut the unused ears off, and have the new mounting area milled flat. I would guess if you had a machine shop do it, it shouldn't be more than $100. Or, since Mikey stated they do in house machining, perhaps you could have him do it if he's willing.
Thats what I asked about 10 posts ago.
no. they are not.
You grind the wheel for weight savings, duh.
At the rate that these are going, Looks like I'm going to have to miss out on this buy. D'oh!
Just out of curiosity, are these calipers new or reman?
Those are rebuilt calipers; says so on the link.
Same as a new one IMO.
Seriously!! How did I miss this?? :braincramp:
