    Drive Bright DRLs Concern...

Update. They're out. I went back to stock. After one module failing in less than three years, and a defective one just delivered...I'm out.

    Drive Bright DRLs Concern...

Well guys, happy Easter. I got the new box from Dan, and spent a few hours last night installing it. So between buying some connectors and the box I’ve spent another $75. Before buttoning the car up this morning, I tested the lights. With the engine off, the four-ways work fine and the courtesy...

    Drive Bright DRLs Concern...

UPDATE...talked to Dan today. He's catching up after vacation. He's sure it's the box and since I'm well past the warranty, I can just buy the box. I'm OK with this and will keep you all in the loop.

    Drive Bright DRLs Concern...

Thanks very much...and I agree on all counts. However, I have now sent two messages via the website, and left 2 voice messages. Loosing faith that I'll get a response...I'll try calling again today.

    Drive Bright DRLs Concern...

Yep...checked all my connections, everything seems OK. Yes, the DRLs would never go off...even with car off and parked. For hours. Even with both fuses pulled, they still almost work correctly. I assume back feeding from where they are linked to the factory wires. With just the main fuse...

    Drive Bright DRLs Concern...

Yes, they've been on the car since it was almost new. I'm going to look under it tomorrow and see if I can find anything. Wiring under the hood looks OK. I seem to remember that a couple guys had issues with the electronics box.

    Drive Bright DRLs Concern...

That's the problem...they no longer shut off. If I pull the main fuse they go out when the car is off...but come on when the car is started. I went out tonight and checked the wire that connects to the turn signal....but really need to get under the car where I put the controller box to see...

This is for an aftermarket item by DriveBright....

    Drive Bright DRLs Concern...

I've reached out to DriveBright too...but figured it can't hurt to ask here. Today, I found that the DRL part of the light are staying on all the time..meaning...after the car is parked. Everything seems to work normally otherwise. I removed the main fuse and now the white DRLs don't...

So what did you do to your SHO today!?

Yesterday, I changed the oil and as much PTU fluid as I could. The latter, was the best I've gotten so far. 12 ounces. Each time I change the oil, I use my Vacula brake bleeder to draw as much as I can get. To the good, the fluid this time was less contaminated. Anyhow, then pump new fluid in...

Light Click Heard While Turning Steering To Left

Yet another update. I have found that there is an updated TSB, that goes up to 2016. While it seems to me it should cover 2018s as I can't imagine anything changed....when I search for the part number of the washer...it comes up as not fitting my car. It's # F2GZ-7G273-A

Light Click Heard While Turning Steering To Left

Well, the noise is back. I drove the car home from the dealership in luring rain, so I didn't hear it. Technician wrote up that the noise was gone. I spoke to a friend who is the Parts Manager at a local Chrysler dealership. He mentioned that this is a common issue with some minivans. (If I...

Light Click Heard While Turning Steering To Left

An update. I took the car to the dealer on Monday, who diagnosed a bad CV or axle shaft. They had to order the axle shaft, which is an SHO specific part. Today, they replaced the axle shaft and the problem seems to be corrected.

    PTU Poll

Thanks guys....while the vacuum tool works, it's one more thing I have to clean, etc when I use it. Maybe I'll just do the drill n' tap. I think I saw instructions for the this on these pages...

    PTU Poll

My concern has been what Kevin81 said. I have a concern about getting the shavings from drilling the hole into the PTU. I do a partial change each time I change the oil, using a vacuum brake bleeder....and then a small bottle top pump.
