CapitalSHO August 23rd BBQ ... UPDATE 1st POST!!

BBQ will take place at Rock Creek Park. 10 Minutes from my house. Directions there are:

I-495 exit 33 (Connecticut Ave) Go north on Connecticut Ave and turn right on Beach Drive. It will either be the first or second light depending on the location you're coming from. Continue straight on Beach Drive and the picnic area will be ahead approx 1/2 mile ahead.

BBQ will start at 2pm. I know it's a little later then previously stated but we will be going late. This picnic area will be enough to accomodate us all as there are a lot of poeple coming from SHOforum and ProbeTalk.

i'm sure we'll find a way to be there.. I am so glad to see Va/NC/MD all getting back into the scene again, I missed this! Let us know what the plans are, i am sure we can make a 4.5 hr drive. heck, pa was 6.5 hrs we got up at 2am drove there, and left at 11pm and drove home, getting back around 5 am that was nothing compare to driving 21hrs straight through to wisconsin though! and driving at night is even better...except through fairfax va...so many freaking cops!there was even a guy getting arrested on the side of the road and some crazy hotel fire at like 2 am there were firetrucks, co. cops, highway patrol, everything out there saturday night.. i am surprised we didn't hit any roadblocks. but yeah, back to the subject lol, we can probably make another meet, let us know the plans

Give me a hollar if you are coming through this way. Maybe we can meet up briefly (I'll buy you breakfast/lunch/dinner at Denny's! ) and oogle each others vehicles and maybe do other things, if you know what I mean (giving secret hand sign). Let me know.

Andrew, you missed the last BBQ. Several cool PGT owners showed. It was a good time. We BBQ'd until at least 12am.

BBQ is fine. i want as far away from DC as possible... i hate driving around that area..it's like all the cops have you by the balls.... it sucks... but yeah a BBQ is pretty good idea, then we can just drive home after that. sound good?
