Ever since shosource launched, those guys have been pretty good at churning out new parts and product. So, have you shosource guys looked into having some clear lense projectors produced?

I think it would be cool to have a one piece unit that included the corner light and fish tank. Any other thoughts?

Money talks, we would need a *huge* group buy and not only that, there are electrical sides of it that would have to be worked out. I don't see this being an easy plug-and-play upgrade. Then again nothing on the SHO is easy, well maybe tires.

I would be in for a group buy as long as it would be this summer when im working full time....i think projectors would look really good on the SHO maybe even some Halo's.

I'd definitely be in for a group buy.

And in order for them to work you would probably need to upgrade your harness. But I wouldn't care because I would convert to HID :naughty: They did make plug-n-play LED tail lights though, but thats a different story.

I think halos would look very nice on a sho. With all the hid conversion kits, I cant imagine it would be THAT hard right? How big of a group buy are we talking? I almost guarantee a 20 man order would be filled.

Yeah but are people willing to pay? 20 orders is a very limited run. Most aftermarket companies want to sell thousands of lproducts. 20 orders probably won't even cover the cost of tooling.

By the way, I'd sign up for a GB in a heartbeat. +1 for having the sidemarker and headlight as one unit although it may require some fender adjustment for some people. I don't even care what projects would be used as long as they are roughly the same size as my E46 projectors.

I disagree. While I like HID's I am not a fan of the HALO headlights found on BMWs. It just wouldn't look right on a SHO.

I agree with Ken, it's our opinion though. I recall someone over on TCCA fabbing their own halos in a g2 SLO, looked ok, but I wouldn't do it to my car. Here's a job kzoosho did awhile back, don't think theyre halos but HID nonetheless :thumb:

Having one piece with the corner lights isn't practical. How are people with differently raked cars going to align their headlights? You can include the fish tanks but stick to just those. I'd be in for a set or 5 if someone made them.

Those are definitely Herman's lights. I know he sold them at one point, to who I don't recall.

 I wasn't aware of that, my apologies. If I remember correctly I came across these headlights in a post by kzoosho which must be why I was thinking that. Glad to be corrected

Allow me to correct once more.....those are, indeed, NOT Herman's headlights. Brian (kzoosho) made them himself, and up close, they were just a tad rough. But dammit, they worked and were aimed quite nicely.

So if they are, in fact, herman's old headlights, that sure as shit ain't Kzoosho's car.

Then they were definitely his design then. This is quite possible as Herman emailed a bunch of us the plans and may have hosted them online for awhile.

Didn't Brian have a 92/93? The car pictured above is a 94/95.

Well, since I could have sworn I got the image from a post of his, I've been doing some searching for the past 20-30 minutes; I'm wondering if I was originally right afterall, I know he had a green g2. Looked up his threads; page two displays leads which make it obvious he was out to build HIDs. Then I found this thread where he did, http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=77004 (this link is relevant to your topic droptsho) , but theyre not the same. Perhaps he made another version, or threw up that picture in discussion of someone elses

He also made some awesome LED tails, http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=73482 , and LED turn signals.

There's a few of his taillight threads on TCCA too.

Someone just get him on here to clear it up already :)

DroptSHO, have you seen this link yet?

Can't be Brian's old car- not enough duct tape... :)
Rough yes, but they worked awesome.

Only thing I'd say about a group buy was that any time it started, 15 people would sign up, then 5 had money, then it died. Don't be so sure about that guaranteed 20. It's always a good idea... until people have to pay for them.
