Stock JBL CD player questions

MY Red 94 came with the JBL package (I know because I have the window sticker), but did all JBL systems come with the slave cd player? I ask because I cannot get a slave cd to work because I don't have the power plug for it back there, but when I unhook the cd player from the radio, the radio doesn't work either. I have 2 sets of radio/slave cds, and I've tried every combination with no success. I thought that every JBL system had the slave cd, but maybe I'm wrong? If you can make sense of my post and have any answers, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The CD player was optional. If you have the harness that connects the CD player to the tape deck hooked up to the tape deck you must have the CD player hooked up also or the tape deck won't work. If you remove the harness from the back of the tape deck you must install the jumper plug back into the tape deck.

Ok, thanks. I guess I don't have one of these jumper plugs. That makes complete sense. Maybe I'll just put a CD player in from my buddy's contour SVT. Thanks!

You can get the jumper plug out of any **** vehicle with Premium Sound, as well as some that have the same radio/tape deck that was in the Premium Sound package.
