I thought I saw some where that some one had used a Gen 2 rear quarter On his Gen 1? (The guy with impala head lights, fender scoop,ect..)
Maybe Im wrong. And If I am. Does anyone know if it will work? Im looking at picking up a 89 SHO and the rear quarters are rusty.

:thankyou:

your not serious are you,the quarters in a gen two are more rounded off you would have to do both quarters to match then also the decklid so that they match and probably figure out something for the rear window if you went that high.i wouls say find a clean 1st gen and go from there

Im talking center down. Not even that high..

Also I know I have read it some where that someone did it. I just cant seem to find it.
The problem with a first gen FORD period is they are hard to find around This area. Gen 2's are not. I swear I saw someone do this, it would make things alot easier.
Im not a body man, This is for when I send it to a body shop.

*EDIT*
P.s Try double reading your post before *hitting post* Took me 6 mins. to figure it out.

Yes it can be done, but not easily. Search under user name ACV1081. I helped cut the rear quarter panels off a donor car.
