I need to replace my serpentine belt tensioner pulley(squeals) and need a better option than the $70.00 I was quoted(it is a $3.00 bearing for crying out loud). Can I substitute and other off the shelf pulley in the ford line up? What about the one from the 3.0 pushrod motor? Anyone have the bearing part #?

Of the parts searches I did (O'Reilly, AutoZone, RockAuto), the spring tensioner showed only for the 3.0L engine. That is odd, because the 3.0L does not have a spring tensioner. Use your search tools and auto parts sources to locate one. Another option is a parts car as a donor.

bearing number for that pulley is NSK BD20-15DWA

or a parts car as sdpatt said, if you do the parts car thing, get the whole tensioner not just the pulley, and be careful pulling the tensioner the pin on the back side has a problem corroding to the pump bracket...
