I have an Ecopowerparts cold air intake and am trying to install the upr catch can on my 2015 sho, but I can figure where to route this third pcv hose. It seems upr included a silicone sleeve that would work on a stock intake, but with the aftermarket epp one it doesn’t work. If anyone knows the solution please please let me know!!!

ok
This gave me too many pcv issues when trying to get it to work on my 2018 so we went back to running on just the backside with a JL but good luck.

I see that it doesn’t have the correct fitting I’m curious what’s the solution.

The most correct way would be to hit up Mike at EPP. Most likely also the more expensive and time consuming route.

Well that’s unfortunate as I paid $800 for an intake that’s not compatible with my catch can. I’ll see what Steve over at upr has to say, but dj you know if the j&l one work with this intake?

tackle it from both sides... I paid them so some basic support might be nice, tell him what you are doing and the UPR CC came with a Ford fitting. all good u will get a resolution, once done share here. it will benefit me and others I am sure.

We’re getting there. It sounds like you need to order the 1/2inch fitting from UPR and tap into the intake tubing. I ordered it this morning so I’ll keep posting updates.

Actually because it is a dual intake I may need to Y it back to the single pcv hose. (One fitting per pipe) I’m sure this isn’t necessary though because the cone filter at the front SHOULD get anything harmful to the engine before entering the piping. Maybe I’m just thinking about it too hard. If you were to Y it back to the single hose I’m sure the difference would be negligible. For now I’ll just wait for the single 1/2” fitting to come in and I’ll probably tap into the front turbo intake pipe that way the pcv hose stays mostly hidden. Hoping I worded this in a way that makes sense

What do we think about me tapping in and connecting the pcv hose here on the intake? It would route to the front turbo only.1ad6d256bc8103bc36ba82e9f0de390b

Yes, I am watching for the resolution as I am saving up to purchase an EPP intake soon.

he resolved it, pickup from UPR and speak to Steve Buscius quick taps.

"UPR offers a Quick Tap fitting which allows you to add a fitting to just about any hose, tube or filter.
without welding. https://www.uprproducts.com/oil-cat...tings/?searchid=249855&search_query=quick+tap
The fitting is installed from the inside of the tube and is secured with the included nut and e clip. It is important to note that you
would need to be able to reach the fitting location from the inside of the tube before drilling any holes.
