Don't plan on it any time soon. The story behind my 97 is a pretty good one. It is the very first SHO that I ever bought. I bought it back in 2005 and I sold it in late 2006. At the time I wasn't into SHOs at all. I had Foxbodies and Saabs. I sold it on ebay to a guy in the Army stationed over in Germany. He and I talked about it several times over the phone before he pulled the trigger. Over the course of the sale and afterwards he and I became fast friends and he's the one that talked me into buying my first V6 SHO. He told me that I would sell all my Mustangs and Saabs if I bought a V6 SHO. He wasn't wrong... Lol! This 97 was picked up by his dad and brought straight to FPS in Atlanta to have the cams welded and then it was shipped to Germany. He has pictures of this car in all parts of Europe. He drove it everywhere. Fast forward 17 years (2023) and he and I are still friends. He is now retired from the military and has a nice car collection and he's thinking about thinning the herd. He gives me a call early last year and tells me his plans and says that he wants to give me first refusal on buying back my first SHO. Without hesitation I told him yes. I picked it up in June of last year and did some things to it to make it mine(wheels, hood, exhaust,...) and it's been my daily ever since. Interior is near mint and it drives perfect. This 97 is the only V8 SHO that I've ever owned and I've owned it twice.

That is an awesome car story!

I’m hoping someday I hear from the guy who bought my ‘66 Galaxie. I miss that car.

Not sure if any one remembers in 1996 Ford offered the mustang in Opal Frost. It is a silver color and a few of the pictures of this car reminds me of that color. The two pictures of the passenger fender.

4100 but yeah I would have done the same thing if I was gonna purchase. If the undercarriage wasn't BC I would really have an issue keeping my hands off of it.

It wasn't me. I wanted too, but couldn't. If the cams were welded I would have been down to drive it home.

It needed new tires too, and it being a Canadian car really wasn't motivating me honestly. If it was Southern USA car, I would have bid and most likely won.

That 3rd Gen SHO was SEXY, but, way too far away from me when I reside right next to the Mexico Border in Deep South Texas.
