So today I set out to datalog the car as Brad sent me another tune. During the datalog I notice the car felt slower than normal. Once I got home I reviewed the log and noticed the car initially made the desired amount of boost for approximately 7 seconds then my waste percentage dropped to zero while the throttle was still at 82%. And the car was only make approximately 5 to 6 psi of boost. I then checked all the boost lines and they all appeared to be tight and without and damaged areas. I checked for codes and came up with P0299. After double checking all the lines again I attempted to apply some air pressure to the system to see if I could hear a boost leak anywhere. Unfortunately I wasn’t even able to build 1 psi in to the system using my homemade boost leak tester. It worked awesome with the Airaid CAI but this EPP CAI is different. Maybe that’s why I can’t. Anyways and assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks as always for looking

Maybe the wastegate solenoid has failed?

Ok I pulled off the boost solenoid and applied power to it and I could hear it click each time. I'm assuming that means it's opening and working properly. I then applied compressed air from the boost solenoid line to the waste gates and I could hear click. I'm assuming that noise was the wastegate opening. Today I'm gonna apply compress air again and see if I notice the wastegate arm actually moving as air is applied. Nothing is ever easy LOL hopefully its a simple fix and doesn't require $$$$$$.

Just applied compressed air to the line for the wastegates and I was able to see both arms moving so I'm assuming that means the wastegates are functioning properly. Anyone have some advised to why I only have spring pressure (7psi) and no boost? Thanks for looking.

Ok so I may have found the issue. But I gotta wait for another set of hands. With both pipes leading to the EPP CAI capped I applied air pressure to the test line I installed for my boost activated x-pipe cutout. As I applied the air and covered the Mac valve bleeder I could hear a large amount off air leaking out at the back of the engine. Once I get a second set of hands to apply the air and cover the Mac valve bleeder I can go under the car and see where the leak is coming from. I hope it’s not the rear turbo hose!!! That will be a bitch to tighten !!!!

Nice. Hopefully it is easy, even though it will probably be a complete bitch.

Well for once I got lucky!!! The boost line going to the boost activated cutout was torn. Looks like it was torn from being up against a support bracket. I'll have to reroute the line. Thanks again!!!!
