Downpipes are one of the big 3 for the platform. Makes the biggest changes in the way the car acts. Big 3 are intercooler, downpipes and duhhhhhjjj oh yea tune.
All you really need for the biggest gains with stock turbos.
Sounds easy dont it?
Everything else is weight reduction and ....white noise.
I was in my h&r lowered sho allll day on bumpy PA roads. My back is recked, time for R&R for a week

Does data logging require a laptop or can it just be downloaded directly from the sct devices?

Both. However, without a laptop you can only record/save one log on the device at a time.

At what point should I be thinking about getting an upgraded catch can?
Catch can is always a good idea. You have choices. Lots of discussions on here about the different brands.
HPFP= high pressure fuel pump. Stupid expensive and definitely not in your budget and definitely not needed until you step up to E30+ fuel and/or turbos.
Lowering springs help in the winter? Nah.

Anyone use vivid racing as an online source for parts before? Just wondering about their rep. Never used them or heard anyone mention their name prior.
it never had much in it so i just took it off. i live in dry climate and its a 13 up.

Fair enough 76fomoco. Anyone have experience with JLT catch cans and/ or are the UPR so much better given they are more than double the cost?

They suck! Sent me incorrect lug nuts. They were listed on their page as fitting my vehicle. Then, hassled me about a return because I opened the package.

Ah jeeze. Well I'm glad i did a little research. They have 140+ BBB registered complaints in the past 3 years. Be happy it was lug nuts, some people I read ordered 3-5k worth of stuff and got similar to worse results including lack of refund without ever receiving anything. I chose to shop elsewhere after seeing that.

In other news I already went over my initial budget. Gearhead performance package recieved, AD trans mounts, and ppe catted down pipes on order. That went quickly lol. So, I'm starting to think why stop now?
Just open hood and dump wheel barrel of cash and close hood!
