Are the R1 Concept rotors any good?

So far I’m happy with their performance. But, disappointed with the zinc coating. Got black and they’re completely gray and white about a month after install.

Since I'm a member of the "Use Blank Rotors, As God Intended!" school of thought, I was greatly encouraged this past week. I cut it too close on my brakes (not a SHO) at PittRace at the SHO Convention. I looked at various pad/rotor combos. Noticed that the popular Powerstop Z23 & Z26 packages had the drilled/slotted stuff. Then was pleasantly surprised to see that the Powerstop Track Day package uses blank rotors!

Same, or Raybestos Pro. Whichever is cheaper for the rotors with the black coating on the hat and internal vanes. I'll use Wagner as well if I can't get those two.

I use Centric High Carbon blanks on my 2011 Corvette Grand Sport for track use, so these are a good choice. On my 2013 non-PP I have OEM rotors that were listed for an Interceptor. Not too pricey and the are working very well.
