Lurking Around
I never said he wasn't correct SM.
I supported 99% of his entire post.
However, I did simply clarify his numbers as it relates to improvements with METH, as those were ambiguous.
I'm too far invested in my own setup to switch at this point. Although I like the BORG reference as I'm a big Trekkie myself, I don't plan on switching over to E.
Ever.
I don't care to be figuring out how much I have in my tanks currently, then trying to add to an existing mix, a mixture of pump gas and E.
Toss in the fact the Taurus employs saddle bag type tanks (which in and of itself causes variations), phase separation, and as you said, testing your own fuel, it's not as much of a "set and forget" as you purport.
Too many variables for my liking. No thank you.
But I understand why it's a preferred option as not all areas of the country offer 93 pump gas.

I also mounted the pump prime/on light in the lower part of the dash and just used some black gorilla tape to hold it in place. I didn't want to drill the dash and is easy to slide the wire in between the dash and the rubber covering the top of the wheel. I opted to not install the low level switch and light in the after market lower washer tank as there are no worries if I run out of washer fluid. as for the meth tank I just used the factory low level for the washer tank so if this come on it will be the factory low level for the washer tank telling me I'm getting low on meth.
