Was a blast, and tiring. Lots of walking looking at cars. Thankful the sun was out, didn't see any olive oil near the SHO's, but I was thinking of Tony, Chris and Tommy's boy birthday. Some of us are working on making it bigger next year.
Look at what won 1st in the Stock class. The older SHO's still got it. I was very happy for the owner. Super clean Gen 3.

It's tough with the timing, since the last two weeks of the school year are always "frozen", but we will find a way and bring one of the 90's or the 91. First gens need to get some fresh air too!

I had fun and still organizing photos.....A good "Four ship" for the parade, thanks Mike, Brian, and Mark. Maybe next year we can park closer at the end of the parade.

Well folks, the 2017 Ford National's have come and gone, and a great time was had by all! Wonderful to see such a turnout from all various model years, trim levels, etc.
The memories created were plenty, and I'm thankful to many many individuals for having made this event, the experience that it was!
BIG Thanks to Brian & Kris Michael (BAM_SHO) as well as to Mark H. (mjhpadi) for their involvement and assistance throughout. Without their help, the show wouldn't have been what it was for me personally.
I was overwhelmed by all the support, as well as all the things to do and see, not only at the fairgrounds, but also in/around the Carlisle area. Fun times for sure! Look forward to doing it again.
Also, HUGE Thanks to all those who catapulted my SHO into it's 1st Place Award for the "Modified" category! Very thankful for the attention, and I only hope I can continue representing the Taurus/SHO platform in the best light possible! Thank you!

I hope everyone enjoyed this event, as much as I did. I know for me personally, I'll never forget all the looks on people's faces when they viewed my SHO for the 1st time. The positive reactions, compliments, and in some cases, utter amazement, from all age groups, walks of life, etc. was priceless. Keeps me fueled for even more to come in the future! --------Mike

2014 SHO LMS Stage 1 V10
The first video was the drone footage....I am not sure whether it was a personal drone or the Carlisle Events drone nut at about 1:15 ish....you can see 2011 TAURUSSEL and Mark at Home.......2011 Silver with the Bear sticking through the moon roof and Mark at Home just to the left the cinnamon one.
I may not have won any awards but definitely know where my SHO stands in the parade. One other video had the three abreast passing through the camera with Mark at Home, Brian and BPD.......Sort of a formation a loose.....no pun intended but a parade formation. Call it a Echelon three ship.

While I am still organizing photos I would like to very much like to thank Brian and his family for helping me entertain, bond with and keep track of Scout my dog. This was his first major public event and your boys kept him entertained and calm. I realize it was also Scout entertaining your boys but thanks again just the same. A lot more turn out this year than I was thinking last year seemed kind of weak. Hopefully we can get even more next year.

It appears next year's Ford National's dates have already been set and are June 1st - 3rd, 2018.
I will do my absolute best. Next year is the big, out of country family vacation. So between that, the National's & now allegedly the re-kindling and/or re-surfacing of a Nat'l SHO Convention for 2018, my calendar will be full.
