I paid $2000 for my 1990 SHO MTX w/ 95K miles in 09/2009, it needed another 2-3K to get it where I like it. Struts, upper & front 60K , tinted windows, ect ect.
I emailed this guy who owns this one & for $1200 I would offer him and $600-$800 to get it drivable and have a much better one for the same money.
He also sent me pics of the front 60K being done ect
UGH
Nice lookin' 90 man, "the posting had expired" unfortunately, but I appreciate the info.
I noticed your from IL. I know CL links are frowned on but I thought I'd let you know about a clean gen 2 in lansing,il. Just thought you may want to consider it.
This car was from lancing, probably the same one, lol that ironic. CL title read something like clean rare 94 sho...but thanks for the heads up
Its a good looking SHO, looks like it was well maintained except for a few small things.
I would see if you can get it for $2000 even, after a test drive, a Carfax review, and
a review of the maintenance records.
Then if you know of a place that will do it, see if you can have a "Courtesy Inspection" done. The shop I work at does it and we have a 32 point inspection we go over for you, free. We let you know of problems or future problems, then detail your car.
Dang, wish there was one around here that did that, most of the ones I know have a flat fee for a pre-purchase inspection and would never even consider throwing in a free detail. The shop you work at sounds pretty awesome.
im contemplating selling mine and starting from scratch. ya know build a new one. but i really love my baby.
228k but she is has all the major mods
want me to put up some pics
Sure, everybody loves pics, n I'm a big fan of red shos.
My Full bolt on race car get's 30 MPG Highway, My other halfs 3.2 MTX gets 30 MPG Highway and 23 City. So get out of here saying we are "inflating" our numbers, giving someone who is loooking at buying a SHO BAD Info based on your car that clearly has something wrong (or the driver can't keep his foot out of it) if he can only Muster 16 MPG.

Appreciate you guys clarifying the MPG thing as the good gas mileage is one of the reasons I'm considering making one a daily. I'd trust real life numbers reported by actual SHO drivers over a government rating or website any day so thanks for the info.
