as title states as much as i dont want to get rid of him as he is like one of my kids but unfortionaly me and my gf have parted ways and i cant take him where i am now living and she cant give him the time he needs as she has both kids with her aswell but thats another story so here goes

he will be 2yo in febuary, he is a pitbull mix(not sure with what)brown kalua color .he is great with kids he has been around my youngest since he was 6 months old (son)he has never tryed to bite anyone other than myself and we were playing and it wasnt a real bite so i dont count that. gets along great with other dogs, and cats. all he needs is his shots, and someone that can give him the time and attention he needs. unfortionaly we didnt have a big yard to let him out and run like he needs.

it really hurt me to have to do this (and yes this brings a tear to my eye having to write this)but i would rather have him go to someone in this general area than have to send him to a pound or give him to some shit head who is gonna treat him like shit and turn him into a beast. we all know the rep these dogs have and he falls no where near it. he truely is a great dog he loves to hop on the couch with you and go to sleep on you (as much of a pain in the ass it was)if any of you guys could help or know some one i would greatly apresiate it and sorry for the long bla bla

thanks guys
and mods sorry if this isnt the apropreate place would just like to see if anyone local could help
if you guys have any questions feel free to give me a call or send me a text(voice mail is f d up)617-930-5575
thanks again Paul

I don't see a problem with this post because you are not "selling" your dog. I wish you luck in trying to find a respected owner that will not treat him in a manner that is stereo typed with pitbulls. They are great dogs that give love back.

If I had the room and time, I would take him, but I can't. Sorry.

I come from a long line of pet owners and lovers, my son had a lovely little pit mix "Mugsey", delightful animal.

Good luck, may I recommend contacting a pet rescue group in your area. There are quite a few dedicated folks who know how to match up prospective foster homes with pets. Just an idea if you can't find a trusted new owner otherwise.

Many rescue groups will not take anything that has any type of pit in it. Friend of mine is having that problem with a stray they found. Sweet little girl, but the vet said she has pit bull in there so no rescue will take her.
