I got something I don't like in every one but Flex wins for me, and I LOVE the lower grill treatment.
I'd lose the SHO badge on the hood.
Use the stock grill painted body color and black like Kirk did.
Do the Mob Steel brake vents.
Also the skirt body kit from the white one.

The more I see the side view of this car, the more I think the "half way up the door" cladding we had on the Gen 1 & 2 would help. That is a big slab of steel with little character (the doors),and we need something there to break it up. Maybe a little "TAURUS SHO" engraving on the front doors, like the gen 1's would help.
Right now the best colour for the car is red, so that those crazy big red lenses on the rear become less noticeable.

Thanks for the kind words on the Red SHO....We were really excited to build this SHO. Yes it does have a FMIC, a custom hood scoop, full Turboback exhaust. We made all the chrome black chrome. Two tone red paint, SCT calibration. This car was amazing just stock, so we knew the final product wold really turn out nice..

I like Flex's best because he got rid of all the dern chrome. They all have good and bad styling points. Did I mention that I don't like the chrome?

while I'm not even sure if this a SHO (it's got dual exhaust) it is by Tommy Z Design, who made the white one for SEMA...Could it be the same car? Both the white and this black are minus chrome trim around the taillights and front-bottom grill.Maybe an SEL?..A head-scratcher. 0tzd

That is hard to tell if it's an SHO or not. It does the LEDs though. I'm digging the back bumper alot and the way the exhaust tips are ran in it. Hmmmm.....

I think the white one does it for me, only with the grill insert in black.

I think that black one may just be an SE. The SE is the only one that comes with that lower grill IIRC.

That is an SEL or Limited because only they get the LED lights with the black trim. SE's don't get the LED accent lights and the SHO has silver trim around them. Also that lower grille is the same on all SLO's. The lack of a spoiler also says non-SHO.

I like the look a lot though. Those tail pipes fit really well in there. Maybe he adapted an SHO rear bumper for the dual exhaust? I def prefer the mesh grille, but would prefer it to be in black chrome or something less bright though.

Must be an SEL. I'm lovin' the original Interceptor concept look of no trim rings around the taillights and no spoiler.Clean and fierce.0agc

I stand corrected. I wasn't aware that the Limited got the same lower grille as the SHO, with the chrome trim around it. I thought all SHO trim was unique. So yea, must be an SEL.

Is the trim around the limited/sho grill separate from the grill? If the trim is separate it would be cool just to swap it from a junkyard SEL :snicker: Just gotta give it a few weeks I'm sure one will turn up! :munch:

Or just remove the trim all together? Don't know if it would leave a huge gap though.

Maybe, this thing is a SHO, but he put the SEL front fascia on it for the look and to be able to use the mesh insert. Then when he did the rear end, removed the taillight trim rings and spoiler, while redoing the lettering...Thus, the dual exhaust.

Tommy Z Taurus

The Tommy Z Taurus started out as an SEL. Tommy designed and developed the exterior components and body kit. He also installed dual exhaust and centrifugal supercharger for the guys that aren't ready to pony up the money for a SHO.
