Kirk... if I wanted this same treatment done with mine... how much would you charge to do the whole job?

well for the first one it took me forever trynig to figure out how to get everything off and apart.. Id say that on mine I had a solid 10hrs into it, plus the cost of the paint and materials.

I would need the car two days, one to take it apart and to get the stuff down to the paint shop, paint it that day and let it dry over night and reasemble the next. I could let YOU take mine while im working on yours, Seeing you car and other rides I know how you drive so I would not be worried about it.

I would say for the same job about 500.00, but hang in there another week. im going to fix the back end of the car this week (de chromeing) and it will be cheaper to do it all at once.. But I want to see how long it takes to get the back of the car apart. I think it will be pretty easy but not sure yet but Ill have mine dechromed by wed the latest.

What happend to the price of paint? I thought we were going to wate-based paints in car production, and it never occured to me that it would be MORE expensive than solvent based. As if there wasn't room for profit in the old prices!
Nice looking alterations to the car. I can see that being the standard SHO package from the factory and an "apperance package" with the chrome look offered to buyers. The appearance package would show up in the driveways of the guys who took their wives with them when they were car shopping.

I can't believe I'm just seeing this now, I need to view this forum more often lol. But seriously, looks brilliantly good, Kirk. That IS how it should look from the factory, IMO.
