Couple weeks ago I scored some used 06 mustang GT muffs on CL. Well last weekend had them welded on. It sounds so much better than the old, crappy magnaflows that were there. Got rid of the stupid raspy tinging sound for the most part. Plus it gives a meaner look. Overall for 100 bucks total it was 100% worth it. FYI: It's magnaflow "Y" - tiny resonantor - muffs.

Thanks nik97 for idea. saw/heard urs and was sold

heres the sound clip. Will get another one w/ it under load.

The only negative about them is the muffler itself is very visible when standing behind the car. I am sure it could be pulled up higher w/ some custom bends and using a custom catback setup.

Probally due to the cattless Y. I'm getting ready to get my 40's welded to the MTX exhaust today... I'll have to start a thread... tell me what you think.

And those GT's sound nice... I almost grabbed a set of those locally...

I didn't like the idle clips much, but with a load it sounds good inside and out!
