How to wire a SHO motor in something else.

    so you want to use the 3.0 pcm instead?

    Of course, it cannot be the same. According to my 1994 factory service wiring diagrams, the pinouts on the 3.0 controller are slightly different:

    37/57 are still power from pcm relay

    30 is the clutch interlock rather than the mlps position sensing

    injector pinouts are unique:

    58 is #1
    59 is #2
    12 is #3
    13 is #4
    14 is #5
    15 is #6

    all the other stuff that I checked appeared to be the same as the 3.2 wiring.

    Bumping from over a year ago....sorry.

    If I'm using the wiring harness/PCM outta my 92 to put in a festiva do I just need to basically wire everything up the same as when it came out of the Taurus?

    What other things, along with the engine are you putting in the Festiva? Anything that the PCM controlled while it was in the Taurus? If yes, then yes.
